As a global leader in automatic fare collection, transit information, and transit analytics solutions, Vix continually strives to make a positive contribution to our communities and environment. Our goal is to make public transport responsive, efficient, and a viable alternative to the private automobile\u2014influencing modal shifts for a more sustainable future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vix is demonstrating its corporate commitment towards the protection and preservation of the environment by maintaining, developing, and continually improving its Environmental Management System to meet the requirements of ISO 14001 and to enhance environmental performance. Vix has held certification in the UK since 2014. Accreditation demonstrates to Vix customers, partners, and suppliers that we take sustainability seriously and strive to increase our green credentials through continuous improvement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All scope 1 and 2 emissions relevant to the operational control approach have been identified and quantified, as well as all relevant and available scope 3 emissions in accordance with the GHG Protocol.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The road to net zero is a continual work in progress, constantly looking at what we, our suppliers, and clients can do to make permanent greener choices. Vix is committed to continuously improving our understanding of our carbon footprint while remaining transparent throughout this process. Our Carbon Reduction Plan<\/a> is published annually.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vix remains committed to achieving net zero emissions in line with the UK government timeline and in accordance with Procurement Policy Note (PPN) 06\/21.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
